Find Beauty Schools Around Your Area

I am currently working with this nice young lady that just graduated high school. We talk once in a while during our breaks and she told me that she can’t afford yet to go to a college. So I suggested to her why not try Beauty School. My hair dresser used to tell me how nice her job is and that she truly enjoys making a lot of people beautiful. Not to mention, the money is good too. When I see her again this Monday, I will definitely give her the Findabeautyschool.com link so that she can find beauty schools that are close to where she lives. She can start by adding her zip code and state to find the different beauty schools and hopefully can start with her own career.

Off To The Mall

We are supposed to go to the mall today to look around depending on what would Ryan feel when he gets off from work but if he is extremely tired I will just go ahead and go. My eyebrows too are getting so bushy and I can't find time to go. I have been wanting to go since 3 weeks ago but I am just extremely busy. The roads are still a little icy outside. It was so bad driving home last night from work but I managed. Ohh yeah it was so nice last night. We stayed there again for only until 12:30 a.m. even if we are missing one person. My managers were so pleased and so were we all. It gets really hard coming home at 3:00 a.m. before and had to get up with Frankie. At least this time we are coming out at a decent time and it surely makes a difference. I also came in early to go shopping. I am finally done with Ryan and I got Frankie a new hat and gloves and a top for Papa and Frankie. So all I need to do is start wrapping (yes, I haven't started). Every time I decide to do them I get more to write and that is what I do first. I should hopefully finish them before Tuesday.

Search It At Epocrates Online

One of the many worries I had when I was pregnant with Frankie, was if I would know what to do with him when he is sick. I never have to deal with any sick siblings I had because my mother was always there for us but when I had him and was sick for the first time, I guess as a mother you find ways to be able to help. I remember asking my mother about what to do at an early stage, search online and when nothing is improving call his pediatrician. One thing that I also find very helpful was going to Epocrates Online and searching what my son had. What I liked about Epocrates Online is they have the information laid out for you. I never knew what gout is about before until I found what it meant at Epocrates Online. They give you the basic information, diagnosis, treatment and more. But of course you still need to check out with physician but it is nice to know the basic information at the back of your head for possible remedies you can provide.

The Easiest Night

After that long night at work last week, we finally encountered the easiest night last Monday. Dan our supervisor is already on his vacation and I was in charge. It never happened to us before that we finish the putting up on the same night and we did. We were all so static that we were out of there at a little before midnight. Everybody was cheering me on because that was the first time ever we were out so early and it never happened at our supervisor's shift. I hope it will be the same night tonight but we still don't know if who are the people I will have. It would be really awesome.

Going For The Best

I worked with his guy who loves playing online games and playing in an online casino. He is not only doing it for fun but also for also for money. I never knew you can actually make money out of these sites. See how naïve I am? I have always been afraid to try some online games. I have games that are pre-installed in my laptop and that is what I play every once in a while. But would you believe that everyone can learn and enjoy casino online games at the convenience of their home? Good thing I came across the best online casino with gambling tools, player resources, instructions, rules and strategies that you can learn to help you understand and play online. You can play blackjack, slots, roulette, baccarat and other games just like in a real casino. Another thing that I like about online-casinos.com is they give you the links of top casinos where you can pick and play online safely. It is also complete with reviews to help you decide which one to go for. It might be worth the try.

Glasses

Frankie loves playing with his glasses after he is done eating and drinking. He usually leave a little bit of water from one glass then he likes transferring it from one glass to the other. As you can see, he doesn't have the cover of his high chair. I had to take it off and washed it because it was getting filthy. I am glad it was ok with the washer and drier. It looks like a plastic thingy for me that was why I was hesitant to dry it in the drier. I just let him be most of the time because it is a good practice with his coordination. Dako na jud among bata.

Something To Keep Him Busy

We are in a plane ticket drama these days with our Papa coming over from the Philippines. It could have been the most perfect time of the year because he can join us for Christmas but also the not so perfect time of the year because most of the flights were taken and also very pricey. We are all so excited and we couldn’t wait to unite Frankie with his grandpa. Although sometimes I couldn’t help but wonder what will keep him busy here while waiting for spring. You see, he will be helping us fix up our house. There is nothing major really just some upgrades and beautification in some rooms but since it is still winter he may have to wait till spring. I am glad that Ryan will soon put together the other computer we have so that he will have one to chat with the family back home. I just need to get him a web cam and he should be set.

I know that he enjoys surfing the net for current events but another thing he can do is also play in an online casino. He used to go out with his boss and play in a Casino when he was in Cebu so playing online will surely keep him busy. After all, I don’t want him to be homesick here.

He Tried So Hard

I truly appreciate Ryan's efforts last night and I so give him a hug for showing that he cares. Well I mentioned in my other blog that it will be so hard for us to get Papa here before Christmas. I was a little sad but I truly understand. Ryan really wants him over here too that last night he searched the internet for plane tickets before Christmas. We found a lot that were around the price range for Papa and wanted to get it. We have heard and read reviews about e-ticketing and we wanted to take advantage of it. Unfortunately when we were trying to book online, the e-ticketing won't work for us because it was an international flight. He could have been here on Dec. 24 at 3:00 p.m. and will be with us for Christmas and see the rest of the family in Chicago. I wrote everything down so that he can give it to his travel agent but for some weird reasons they can't access or confirm the flight from their end. So we didn't have any choice but to stick with the previous plan. Papa said that there will be more Christmas and I know. I was just glad Ryan was so helpful and he really tried but failed. With the new ticket we can save more. Thank goodness!

Manage Your Business With Ease

I used to take business administration classes and human resource classes as my second degree in college but I have to say managing a business is not easy. It wouldn’t be as bad if all you have to think is how to serve your customers/clients and how to put the product or services out in the market but the tricky and hard part is the paperwork and how to manage it well. It doesn’t matter how small or big the business is and sometimes if you don’t know how to balance it well, it can affect your business. What if I tell you there is an easier way to manage your business without the hassle so that you can take care of things that matters most? That is by using the Online scheduling software and business management software from Mindbodyonline.com. With almost everything done online these days, it makes everything easier and simpler because you can access the information everywhere because it is online. It also comes with staff management tools like payroll, online scheduling and more. It is also integrated with credit card processing and most of all in depth business analysis reports to see how your business is doing.

So what are you waiting for? If you own a Day Spa or a Martial Arts place, then you may want to take a look at the Day Spa Software and Martial Arts Management Software to help ease the burden off your shoulders.

Rough Night

I led the team last night again and it seems like every time I handle them there is always some issues. Well it wasn't really my fault though. First was, one of our associate did a no call no show. We were all so disappointed since we had a very big ad. We know that the guy really wanted to quit. The store made arrangements for him just to cater to his needs just a call would have been better so we can call someone in. It was so late when we finished all the scanning. I wasn't supposed to take an area but insisted that I did so we finish a little faster but we didn't cover it all anyways. A couple of my teammates also had printing issues and used a different date so they didn't have any choice but to redo it again. I didn't get any call this morning because I was the one left them the instruction. I really hate leaving the work for other people to do but we really don't have any choice.

Exterior Shutters

Ryan and Dad have been working on our house for quiet sometime now. They have updated the big bathroom and one bedroom but there are still a lot of things to do. Dad has been really busy with taking care of his own house and my mother in law’s house that he tries to get to our house once a week and when time permits. We can’t wait to sell this house and have our house out in the country. We are already planning to buy a piece of land and that is where we will have our house built. I am sure Dad and my father will be able to guide us through with the right things to get and have for our house. Although I have seen beautiful selections of exterior shutters that I would love them to see. Adding exterior shutters in a house surely makes it appealing. What is even better is if you get it from Larsonshutter.com, shipping is free on orders over $99.00. They have 40 designer colors to choose from. If you are planning to do some updates in your house this spring/summer then, they are worth your time.

What He Wants

Ryan was so cute today when he came home from work. He came up to me, gave me a kiss and said, "Sweety, I will make it easy for you, I want you to get me a watch for Christmas". I was going to get him a new winter jacket so I guess I will get him the watch too. He placed his old watch on the table and showed it to me and yeah it was falling apart. I don't know how long did he wear it but the wedding ring and the watch are the only jewelries that he wears. So I may have to change plans. I like taking Frankie with me when I go shopping for Ryan so that the gift will be from both of us. I always like asking him if he thinks it would be nice for Dada. I love taking my little Baba wherever I go.

Jacket For Ryan

I recently purchased a winter coat for my father from the store and while I was there, I called my husband and asked him if he wants to have another one. What he has been using is pretty beat up and he had it for about 10 years now. Well he said no so I figure, I might as well get him one for the holiday as my gift. I could have gotten it from the store but for that price I know I can find something elsewhere and I am right. I found different 5.11 Jackets from a police gear website. What I like about the jackets they have is, it doesn’t look bulky yet it gives you the warmth you need from this cold weather. It is waterproof and has breathable parka shell, removable, color-matched fleece liner and more. It is not only for police officers but also to anyone. Ryan is out most of the time and this Tactical Aggressor Parka will be right for him.

Late

I was late yesterday from work and our supervisor was freaking out. Well I tried calling him that I will be late but I already hanged up when he was about to pick it up. I was waiting for quiet a while that I decided to rather go. Actually I don't consider it late since I am scheduled to be in at 8:00 p.m. but since I have been working with him and for him and doing all the paperwork before the rest of our co-workers come in. Sometimes even if he gets there early he waits for me to do the papers so he must be worried that I didn't show up at 7:30 p.m. Everyone was so relieved to see me since we have quiet a big ad last night. I came in at 8:06 p.m. Next week is when I will be left to lead the team since my supervisor is closing and moving to their new house so he will be gone just for a week. I already told him my conditions as long as I don't mess with those codes I am good. Hopefully I won't disappoint them next week.

Happy Birthday Tita Sheila

Today is Sheila's birthday. She invited us to go with them and have lunch at the Filipino restaurant but I said no because of Frankie's not that well yet. It is also a little of a long drive to Kankakee. They were willing to come pick us up and but I was the one who said no for now. Good thing they will be going to church later so we will meet over there. I will also give her my gift so that I am done with it. I really hope she will like what we got for her as I really really love what she got for me too. Happy Birthday Tita Sheila and you already know what my wish is for you.

Moving to Chicago?

One of my co-worker’s daughters is moving to Chicago after graduating college here in the south suburb. You see, Chicago is only 30 miles away from where we live but she is not up to commuting and the driving especially this time of the year, winter. She just recently got a job downtown and of course her mother, my co-worker is very excited for her. She wants to rent an apartment in Chicago but she doesn’t know where to start. When I see Sharon again this Saturday I will definitely give her the link that can help her daughter find different apartments in downtown Chicago.

It might surprise you how easy it is to locate and find Chicago Apartments. I know how overwhelming it can be for her or for anybody that is new to Chicago. Most of all there is a free apartment locator service that you can check out online. You can start by checking out their website and do quick apartments search. They even have a Chicago Moving Center that contains relocation information that can help you with your relocation to Chicago such as truck rental, storage, electric and gas service and more. So start searching today and see yourself living in downtown Chicago.

Feeling Better

Our very empty living room as you can see. Frankie has been feeling better lately. This is one of the reasons why I am not looking forward for winter because it is not only cold but it is also not too good for the little ones. They easily catch a cold during these months. He is now taking an antibiotic for his ear infection. He has been really good and not giving both of us a problem. Hopefully he is ok on Sunday so that we can take him to church but if not, I may have to leave them both at home so that I can go. I just love staring at his face when he sleeps. He is such an angel to me.

Capella University

One of the things I love here in the US is the chance to go to an accredited school online. What I am referring to is the online university degree that you can take from Capella. What I find very interesting is they have podcast featuring interviews from different students, faculty and staff about their own experiences with the online education they got from Capella. Ryan and I have been talking about going back to school. I am so interested with taking Psychology but haven’t decided where to go and what to do. I am also amazed that Capella is serving 23,400 students from all 50 states and 45 other countries. So they must be doing something good to their students. Get your degree from Capella and be glad to be apart of this leading online university.

I Just Don't Get It

I know this girl who was so desperate to find a job and now that she has a job all I hear from her is complain, after complain after another complain. She doesn't want to work and she kept screwing us up when she does that we have to end up redoing everything. Whenever we need help sometimes we are better off not calling her in because she is not only slow but always does it wrong and ask questions when she is done with her area. She is a nice girl and we always talk about our kiddos during break but this is something in her that I don't understand. She also complains why she only gets once a week but when she is with us and doesn't like her areas, she just gets up and leave. I won't say anything of course because it is not my position. When she has questions she comes to me and I help her and that's all I can do. I hope she realizes soon that you will never go far or nowhere when your attitude is like this.
